So I was too impatient to wait till Brendan’s next Dr’s appt to find out how much he weighed. The correct amount? 9lbz, 8oz. Care to know how we found out? Today while JR was at work, Brendan and I brought him lunch… well, while Brendan was sleeping we were talking about weighing him. Then I had this bright Idea. “Do you have a scale here?” I ask. He said “Yeah, in the Nail Aisle… but I think it only goes to 5 lbs”. Good enough for me! Well, low and behold, the scale went to 10 lbs, and wouldn’t you know, a baby fits in that thing JUST PERFECTLY! And so this is how the contributions to the Therapy Jar began. One Dollar for everything we do that will inevitably embarass him later

Although our next doctors appointment isn’t until the 21st, we thought it would be interesting to TRY and weigh/measure Brendan. We weighed me holding him and me without him, and stretched him all out on the floor to measure him and we came up with a whopping 22inches and 10.5lbs!!! We can’t believe it! We’ll see how close that is to the truth at his next drs appointment!
