Continuing her streak of cracking up saying funny things, last night Lily was hopping around on our bed, and we told her to stop b/c we were half asleep. I finally said “Lily, you’re killin’ me!”
To which she responded “I not killin you. You okay!”

Today we went to Lowes to buy paint for the kids bathroom. While there, Lily was pitching a fit for a good 15 minutes saying “I need my paci!”
We are on a “paci’s at bedtime/naptime only” rule in our house, currently, so it was a no-go.
She was furious and when we got to the car and I finally managed to buckle her in (she’s squirmy when she’s mad), i got in and started the car. She looked at me and cried “I takin my shoes off cuz you NOT da boss! I takin’ my shoes off cuz you MEAN mommy!!”

When we got in the car normally, she immediately takes her shoes off. I’m constantly telling her “don’t take your shoes off!” so it’s almost as if she sat down and thought “hmm, what can I do that she doesn’t want me to do? OH! She doesn’t like when I take my shoes off! I’ll show her!”
