Lily: *crying, b/c she just woke up*

Brendan: Lily, Don’t cry! You’re happy!

Lily: *more crying b/c she’s really not that happy*

Brendan: LILY! Don’t Cry! You’re HAPPY!

Lily: *again, crying, b/c this just isn’t fun*

Brendan: LILYYYYYY! DONT CRYYYYYY!! YOU’RE HAPPYYYY!!!!!!!!!

Lily: *pause in crying….*

Lily: *crying begins again*

Brendan: Lily! Please stop!

*at which point mom comes in and saves poor Lily from the torture that is her swing.

Yesterday it was finally sunny and dry at our house,

so we packed up silly-face Brendan

and pink-toed lily (sorry for the bad pic)

and headed out to denton to deliver a package to a friend

that was pretty much our day the rest was just a “hang out in your pj’s and watch phineas and ferb” kind of day

omigosh. I just heard the cutest thing EVER.

Brendan and Lily were playing on the living room floor just now and brendan hugged lily and said “I’ve got my best friend!”

Today Lily seems to be feeling a bit better. We are still on pedialyte and gatoraide. She has a dr’s appt at 10am today. Yesterday they started her on Phenegren, an anti-nausea medication, in hopes of it keeping some food in her system, and allowing her to sleep more and kind of heal herself.

Downside is it apparently doesn’t make her tired at all. LOL.

Lily is still acting kind of mopey, etc. She jsut chugged about 6 ounces of gatoraid, so she’s sitting in the LR, playing quietly. I called the dr with our am update (no fever, still having diarrhea, one more small clear vomit last night) and am waiting for a callback.

Lilys apt went well I guess. They said she either has gastroenteritis or E Coli. Tomorrow we are supposed to call back and let them know how she is doing so we know what to do next.

Lily has a dr’s appt at 3:00. She threw up 2 more times yesterday with numerous blowouts inbetween. Her poor but looks like round beef from all the pooping, and she hasn’t kept any formula down in days.

Monday has been much better to all of us. JR went off to work without much complaint and while I didn’t have an appetite for the vast majority of the day, I felt better.
Brendan was scarfing down “grandpa juice” (gatoraide) and dry cereal left and right. And Lily (since she hasn’t thrown up since saturday AM) was back on her normal regimen of formula, pureed food, and any random bits that she can steal from her brother and/or dog.
Brendan and Lily pretty much just chilled out and played all day, as we kept our “Living Room Bed” around just for one more day of relaxing.

And Mr. Brendan was FIRST in line to be sure his Little Lily was feeling okay today

She’s been very lethargic all day, just wanting to snuggle and lay on anything/anyone that will let her. Which I, admittedly, am soaking up every moment of since she’s typically not a very cuddly baby
